Engraving on Marble with the Sandblasting Technique

✍️ What will you do: You will personalize a colored marble tile by applying stencils with your initials or Florentine symbols, finishing the work with sanding and polishing for a professional result.
📅 Details: Duration of 2 hours in Italian (translation available); graphics must be sent 15 days in advance to create your eternal memory to take home.
The Eternal Letters Workshop, led by Francesca Gulizia with the assistance of Paolo Pratesi, allows you to experiment with the fusion between ancient artisanal techniques and modern tools, creating a personalized marble artifact.
Each participant will receive a colored marble tile (the shade will depend on availability) and of custom adhesive erasers with initials or symbols inspired by Florence. After applying the masks to the marble, we will proceed with the blasting, an engraving technique that imprints the design on the stone.
The procedure is simple and fast: whoever wants can do the engraving personally, otherwise the teacher will take care of it. Finally, each work will be finished with the sanding and polishing the edges, turning into an eternal and unique memory.
