It all started away from home

I lived in Paris for three years. There, in the streets of the Ville Lumière, I noticed something that changed me profoundly. In France, the craftsman is not just a manual worker: he is a pillar of society, protected and celebrated.

I saw an entire country mobilize to rebuild the Notre Dame spire after the fire of April 15, 2019, relying on the skilled hands of axe masters and stonemasons. I realized that without those hands, the story can't go on.

Then I looked at Italy. The country with the greatest artisan tradition in the world was losing its pieces. I saw shops closing, shutters lowered and an inestimable heritage that risked disappearing into silence.

From that sorrow, a promise was born: Faicose.

Who's behind it?

Hi, I'm Giovanni Francolini and I created Faicose.
I am a developer who lives digitally, but who believes in the importance of human relationships. My job is simple: I find hidden excellences, verify that they are authentic and create the digital connection to take you in there.
