The Glue Paper Workshop, conducted by Antonella Ielpo At theAtelier degli Artigianelli, is a laboratory dedicated to those who want to explore the world of paper and its ancient decorative techniques.
After a brief introduction to History of decorated cards, with the opportunity to admire a sample of ancient glue cards kept in the atelier, participants will immediately move on to practice.
During the workshop you will learn:
- The gestural techniques for using spatulas and brushes.
- The application of colors on paper.
- The creation of unique and personal decorations.
- To discover an ancient art that is still fundamental today in the world of bookbinding.
- To learn a versatile technique, also applicable in fields such as design and decoration.
- To take home the hand-decorated cards created during the workshop.
- Duration: 1 lesson of 2 hours.
- Course start: on request, with at least 7 days notice.
